¿Qué es Goodrae? Diccionario hipertextual e inverso. Goodrae es un juego de palabras; de todas las palabras. Con Goodrae puedes sumergirte en el Diccionario de la Real Academia Española de la Lengua (RAE) y navegar por ellas porque convierte el diccionario de la RAE en hipertexto: todas las palabras enlazan a su entrada en el diccionario (si existe, si no, te hace una sugerencia). Goodrae permite realizar búsquedas en el contenido de los artículos (diccionario inverso). Además, está lematizado: idéntifica la forma canónica de los términos buscados, muestra su definición y permite consultar palabras de su misma familia. ¿Cómo se utiliza? Tipos de búsquedas.
•Puedes buscar una sola palabra y te mostrará la definición y las entradas en las que aparece. Ej.: 114 entradas recogen la palabra buscar.
•Buscar varias palabras para encontrar las entradas en las que aparecen. Ej.: 125 apariciones recogen las palabras flor y planta.
•Realizar búsquedas textuales entrecomillando las palabras a buscar. Ej.: 43 coincidencias de " mamífero roedor".Utiliza el entrecomillado para buscar abreviaturas del diccionario. Por ejemplo: "Del lat.", "desus.", "adj.", etc.
•Utilizar el comodín "*" para buscar finales de palabras, principios o ambos. Ej.: 1974 palabras terminan en *mente, 73 comienzan por extra* y que comiencen por extra y terminen en mente (extra*mente) hay 4. Si algún alumno os pregunta qué palabra rima con canguro os puede resultar de ayuda saber cuáles son las 114 entradas terminadas en *uro que se recogen en el diccionario.

With Goodrae you can immerse yourself in the dictionary of the Spanish Royal Academy of Language (RAE) and browse within it to your heart's content, for it converts the RAE dictionary into hyperlinks: every word leads to an entry in the dictionary(if it exists, otherwise an alternative is suggested). • Use the wildcard "*" to search for words ending or beginning with this or that string, or both. Example: 1974 words end in *mente, 73 begin with extra* and 4 begin with "extra" and end in mente. If someone asks you what word rhymes with canguro you can find the 114 words ending in *uro to be found in the dictionary.

Si quelqu'un vous demande quel mot rime avec canguro, vous pouvez trouver les 114 mots qui se terminent en *uro dans le dictionnaire.

What is it?

It’s an online interactive English dictionary and thesaurus that helps you find the meanings of words and show connections among associated words. You can easily see the meaning of each by simply placing the mouse cursor over it.

Usage

To search for a word, type the word in the search box at the top of the window and press the "Draw" button. You may also press the enter key instead. After searching for a word, the main display will populate with many words and meanings. The word you searched for will appear in the center of the display, and will be surrounded with words and meanings that are related to it.

To save what is currently displayed in the Graph Words, you can press the "Save as image" button on the toolbar.

Underlayer Underneath Graph Words lays the WordNet - a large lexical database of English. Nouns, verbs, adjectives and adverbs are grouped into sets of cognitive synonyms (synsets), each expressing a distinct concept. These meanings and semantic relationships are revealed graphically by the HTML5 canvas made available by Graph Words.

Qu'est-ce que c'est ?

C'est un dictionnaire et thésaurus anglais interactif en ligne ayant pour objet d'aider à trouver la signification des mots en montrant les corrélations entre les mots associés. Il suffit de placer son curseur sur un mot pour en faire apparaître le sens.

Utilisation Pour chercher un mot, saisissez le dans la boîte de recherche située en haut de la fenêtre et appuyez sur le bouton « Draw » (dessiner) ou sur la touche « Entrée ». L'écran principal affichera alors un certain nombre de mots et de significations. Le mot cherché apparaîtra au centre de l'écran, et sera entouré par des mots et qui s'en rapprochent et leur signification.

Pour obtenir une saisie d'écran, appuyer sur l'option « Save as image » dans la barre d'outils.

Sous-bassement

Graph Words est sous-tendu par WordNet, vaste base de données lexicales de l'anglais. Noms, verbes, adjectifs et adverbes sont regroupés en ensembles de synonymes cognitifs (« synsets ») exprimant chacun un concept distinct. Les significations et les corrélations sémantiques sont visuellement révélées par la toile HTML5 de Graph Words.
